With advance reservations soaring, they anticipate more than 1,000 exhibitors occupying a staggering 120,000 square meters of exhibition area. This represents a 20% increase compared to the already record-setting 2024 London event!
Clarion’s managing director, Stuart Hunter, stressed their dedication to measured expansion, choosing to limit the 2025 event to 120,000 square meters despite having the option to utilize even more space. This choice prioritizes a high-quality experience for both attendees and exhibitors. The excitement is palpable – everyone wants to be part of the action in Barcelona!
Although Clarion operates as a company, we recognize our obligation to guide the gaming sector responsibly. This entails expanding ICE gradually, aligning with the industry’s capacity. We’ve implemented this approach since ICE relocated to ExCeL London in 2013, commencing with 31,000 square meters of exhibition area. Annually, we’ve cautiously expanded the show’s dimensions to correspond with our objectives of attracting additional purchasers, ensuring everyone achieves a substantial return on their investment.”
Hunter proceeded to elaborate on the rationale behind the show’s arrangement: “It’s not solely about scale. We invest significant consideration into how ICE is structured, guaranteeing it mirrors all the diverse segments of the gaming realm. Our ultimate aspiration is for ICE and iGB Affiliate to fulfill the requirements of the entire worldwide industry, and transferring to Barcelona provides us the room to accomplish that even more effectively.”
In 2025, ICE/iGBA will occupy a vast 120,000 square meters encompassing Halls 1 through 5 of the Fira Gran Via, with iGB Affiliate situated in Hall 1 and ICE extending across Halls 2 to 5. Furthermore, an supplementary 120,000 square meters are allocated for potential future expansion of ICE/iGBA over the subsequent five years.
