OPAP Partners with OpenBet for Enhanced Online Sports Betting

The Hellenic gaming organization OPAP has forged a long-term accord with sports wagering solutions provider OpenBet. OpenBet will furnish OPAP with its complete set of betting technology, trading, and sports content through SportCast.

This association marks OpenBet’s entry into the Greek marketplace and its tenth collaboration with a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA). The partnership will empower OPAP to utilize OpenBet’s proficiency and top-tier technology solutions to enhance the customer experience and propel their online sports wagering enterprise to new heights.

OPAP is a constituent of the Allwyn Group and is anticipated to unveil its financial outcomes for the 2022 fiscal year later today (March 15th).

OPAP Chief Executive Officer Jan Karas stated, “At OPAP, we are consistently dedicated to providing our clientele with the highest caliber of innovative and engaging gaming products. Consequently, we are immensely enthusiastic about partnering with OpenBet and anticipate leveraging their expertise and top-notch technology solutions to enhance the customer experience and elevate our online sports wagering business to new heights.”

OpenBet Group Chief Executive Officer Jordan Levin appended, “We are ecstatic to collaborate with OPAP to assist them in delivering a world-class online sports betting platform. Our technology, content, and services, coupled with our adaptable, customizable solutions, render us the favored sports betting partner for WLA members.”

This is a significant victory for OpenBet, and we are thrilled to collaborate with Jan and his team at OPAP.

OpenBet was formerly owned by Light & Wonder but was acquired by Endeavor last September. The transaction was finalized three months later than initially planned and for $400 million less than the original agreement.
