Probability-Based Compliance Appoints New Directors of Revenue Auditing and Technology Compliance

Probability-Based Compliance, a company specializing in rules and technology for the gambling sector, has revealed the hiring of Marybeth Butler as Director of Revenue Auditing and Ali Ghanavati as Director of Technology Compliance.

Butler joins the firm after leaving the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), where she played a key role in creating the state’s sports betting regulatory structure in 2018.

Butler began her career in 1987 at the New Jersey Casino Control Commission as an auditor and led the revenue certification team in 1995. She helped develop auditing strategies for the introduction of online gambling in 2013.

Ghanavati most recently served as Head of Regulatory Technology at Fubo Gaming. In this position, he was responsible for the company’s jurisdictional product compliance strategies and helped launch operations in several states, including Iowa, Arizona, and New Jersey. Fubo closed its sports betting operations in October.
