The Maltese Gaming Authority (MGA) has granted BetConstruct permission to receive cryptocurrency deposits.
BetConstruct states that this new action by the MGA will enable them to “expand their operations by connecting with players who utilize cryptocurrencies, making them more satisfied and involved.”
They will provide cryptocurrency gambling through their white label offerings and their own Vbet brand.
Earlier this year, BetConstruct announced that they would accept Fasttoken (FTN) as a cryptocurrency they support.
The utilization of cryptocurrencies or VFAs (Virtual Financial Assets) has been included in the Maltese government’s temporary “sandbox framework” to observe how licensed gambling operators employ cryptocurrencies.
The framework was scheduled to conclude on December 30, 2022, but it has been extended to February 28 of this year.
