Galaxy Games Welcomes New Board Member, Meredith Brill

Galaxy Games has declared that Meredith Brill will be joining the board of directors, commencing on July 13th.

Brill will take the board seat left vacant by William Zander, who stepped down on July 1st. She will hold this position until the next board election, which will take place at the annual meeting of shareholders.

Brill is a Canadian legal professional specializing in intellectual property and patent law. She was employed at Bereskin & Parr LLP from 1998 to 2008, after which she transitioned to being a private investor. She has been a shareholder in Galaxy since that time.

During her tenure at Bereskin & Parr LLP, Brill was engaged in all facets of patent writing and legal proceedings, intellectual property portfolio management, strategy development, and competitive intelligence research.

Mark Liparelli, the head of the Galaxy board of directors, stated that Brill will be a beneficial addition to the company.

“Meredith is a valuable addition to the Galaxy board,” he remarked. “Her expertise in intellectual property is directly applicable to Galaxy’s business model, and as a long-term shareholder, she possesses a deep understanding of the company’s prospects and obstacles. We anticipate her contributions.”

The interstellar company, renowned for its esports and digital innovation, has recently unveiled a new branch focused on these fields. This announcement coincides with the arrival of a new investor, Brill, who has expressed enthusiasm for joining the organization.

“I have been a stakeholder in Galaxy for an extended period and I sincerely respect their business structure and the achievements they have attained,” Brill declared. “I am eager to be involved in their strategy and operations, and I will leverage my expertise in intellectual property to contribute to their future ventures.”

Galaxy’s return to financial success in 2021, following record esports earnings, underscores their dedication to expansion.
